Updated 21 March, 2014

Your privacy is critically important to us. At Broadcast Sport we have a few fundamental principles:

  1. We don’t ask you for personal information unless we truly need it. (We can’t stand services that ask you for things like your gender or income level for no apparent reason.)
  2. We don’t share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products, or protect our rights.
  3. We don’t store personal information on our servers unless required for the on-going operation of one of our services.

By using our Service you understand and agree that we are providing a platform for you to post content, including photos, comments and other materials ("User Content"), to the Service and to share User Content publicly. This means that other Users may search for, see, use, or share any of your User Content that you make publicly available through the Service, consistent with the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use (which can be found at http://www.broadcastfootball.co.uk/terms).

Our Policy applies to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service ("Users").

Below is our privacy policy which incorporates these goals:

It is BROADCAST SPORT’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our websites. Website Visitors

Like most website operators, BROADCAST SPORT collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. BROADCAST SPORT’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how BROADCAST SPORT’s visitors use its website. From time to time, BROADCAST SPORT may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.

Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information

Certain visitors to BROADCAST SPORT’s websites choose to interact with BROADCAST SPORT in ways that require BROADCAST SPORT to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that BROADCAST SPORT gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, we ask visitors who sign up account at broadcastfootball.co.uk, the Broadcast Football app for Android and iOS platforms to provide an username via either a Twitter or Facebook account. BROADCAST SPORT collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitors’ interaction with BROADCAST FOOTBALL. BROADCAST SPORT does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.

We collect the following types of information:

  1. Your Facebook or Twitter username you register for a Broadcast Football account.

  3. User Content (e.g., photos, comments, and other materials) that you post to the Service.
  4. Communications between you and Broadcast Football. For example, we may send you Service-related messages (e.g., account verification, changes/updates to features of the Service, technical and security notices). Note that you may not opt out of Service-related messages.
