Broadcast Football is the first app from Broadcast Sport, founded by Anthony Onumonu & Neil Bramah. Our goal at Broadcast Sport is to make it easier for you to talk about the sports you love, without all the other noise, by creating simple, engaging and safe apps to use wherever you are - be that at a match, your local pub or at home on the sofa.
Nothing - it's available for free in both the Apple App Store and Android Store.
Yes (…is the short answer!). We're currently focused on creating the best social football app right now, and then working on a tablet version. We'll see how this goes first.
Not currently - we see ourselves as a mobile-first company, and don't expect to take Broadcast Sport away from your hands and onto a computer any time soon.
Yes and hopefully very soon but will depend on where our users are in the world.
Head to your profile page, top left head icon on the home screen and then click the cog icon. Here you will find a button labelled 'Find Friends'. Click this and we'll show you which of your friends are currently on Broadcast Football. Alternatively, head to a match, swipe the stream to your left (where you can view what everyone's currently saying) and from there you can select fans and follow them using the 'Follow' button.
You can't as yet, but we'll be adding that functionality very soon. Until then tell as many friends you can. You can always Cast directly to them from the app to selected social platforms.
All our Premier League data comes from the company OPTA. This includes all squads and match day data such as goals, substitutions and cards. We continue to work alongside OPTA to make sure the data you see is correct, but if you notice any errors please do get in touch via either Twitter, Facebook or trusty old email.
Currently you can only view the Premier League, but we hope to add more in the future. Very much depends on the engagement of the app.
You can view our Privacy Policy here.
Head to your profile page, top left head icon on the home screen and you'll find the social networks that are available to join. From there, simply sign in and you'll be able to start posting your Casts to more places. We're currently looking into adding more social networks - keep an eye on the app for details.
The only data we hold is your name, @username, email (if added) and anything you've said on our app. Everything else is held on the social media account you signed in with, and we only took from them what was mentioned above.
Yes. If you would like to be part of the Broadcast Sport writing team please get in touch via email. To speed the process along we advise you add something you’ve recently written (doesn’t need to be long 250-500 words) when getting in touch.
We’re not big on emails at Broadcast Sport but we will email you from time to time to inform you about what’s happening with the app, such as when we add more leagues or launch the World Cup version. If you no longer wish to receive emails, you can unsubscribe here.
Please send any questions to our support email address and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
If you send us an email by clicking here we will send you all your data we have on you, and then close your account. You can also revoke access from the social media account you signed up with.
We're always keen to hear from potential partners. If you're interested, please contact us here.
